The mounting bolts themselves function as oil passages. Therefore, the gauge can be easily installed by simply machining two (or four) threaded holes in the equipment body where the gauge will be used

The cover of the KDS type can be easily removed. Therefore, the inside of the gauge can be cleaned simply by removing the cover, without removing the oil gauge body from the equipment.

The reflector has H and L level lines printed in red on a white background, making it easy not only to check the oil level but also to observe subtle changes in the oil level.
