Rhino Pro Carbon Filters

Loaded with premium activated carbon to effectively control unwanted organic odors, it provides excellent filtration for around 2 years, effective in both high/low humidity. This is possible through the use of high quality RC-412 carbon.

 

RC-412 Carbon

The carbon used for the Rhino Filter, RC-412 active carbon, is mined in Western Australia and is of a unique quality that only occurs in Australia. After mining, the carbon is formed into active carbon in a special process. The pores are formed to absorption of unwanted odors, Cause the unique density of the carbon.

Other factors are the surface area, the grain size of the carbon and the depth of the carbon bed. These factors guarantee a long life expectancy. This life depends on the speed of air flow, the amount of impurities in the air and climatic conditions. Taking these variables into account, Rhino gives their filters a life expectancy of three years.

The Rhino Pro and Rhino Hobby carbon filter are design to usded with pre filter outer dust sleeve.  Regularly replacing these will help to prolong the life of your filter by keeping it from getting clogged up with larger particulate, and ensuring your filter is working efficiently. Outer sleeves for both the Rhino Pro and the Rhino Hobby filters. As they are slightly different sizes.  if things look dirty, they need replacing!
